It's the 1860's. They've stuck oil in Lambton County and the rush is on! Thousands of people – poor folks, rich folks, visionaries and thieves – flow into Oil Springs and Petrolia, all searching for "black gold". times are tough. Horses sink up to their bellies in clay; families arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs; fortunes are won and lost overnight. With down-home, foot-stompin' music - fiddle, banjo, mandolin and guitar - and a brilliant cast portraying more than 30 characters, "Oil Rush" promises not just to entertain, but to fascinate and inspire. A Daring, innovative, original piece of theatre, created especially for you!
